A Very Capable Little Computer., The MacBook is a very capable little computer. If there's one thing missing, I would say that is a larger hard drive. I filled the hard drive to copy music and photos from my iMac pretty fast. I called AppleCare and was asked to load the operating system for the EU in the race with the launching unit. Since then I have added an external hard drive for backup purposes. Unfortunately, connected with a backup disk, over a relatively short USB connector, it is usually inconvenient and cumbersome. Is not the best solution, I say.Lastly, I think the battery life is less publicized. Are usually running the computer plugs into the wall, but even when it is fully charged, the battery life rarely available to show more than four hours.

Solid, stylish and a definite head-turner anywhere, the HP Envy 13 is a 13-inch laptop that can beat almost any other laptop in the market. Featuring an aluminum body with magnesium alloy base, the laptop looks stunning with a gunmetal finish and imprints on the bezels. Lifting up the cover reveals a very comfortable keyboard with large raised island or chiclet style keys and huge track-pad. The keyboard is exceptional but has no back-light while the track-pad offers multi-touch options and plenty of real estate to work with. Tough and solid, the chassis can take a good amount of punishment, but bear in mind that it is more likely to make a dent than get one.

Several of the major computer manufacturers now offer ultra thin, very sleek and, above all, fantastic looking small laptops. Sony recently launched their TZ Ultraportable and in January 2008 Apple unveiled the MacBook Air. These laptops are at the cutting edge of available consumer computer technology and their unique selling point is how portable and lightweight they are. However, these are expensive laptops and the question remains - will you be getting good value for money?

First Mac Laptop — And Love It!, Just a quick review here. I have the item quickly and safely from Amazon. Great laptop, you can not go wrong with him. Brave New World: OS X, Windows and Linux. Can do almost anything imaginable. The material is to-die-for Gorgeous! Great sound, feel solid. Keys has a great touch, smell. Features touch-pad is killer, really can not go back to normal after using a Synaptics touchpad. The software is as expected, Snow Leopard is a charm. Specific hardware may be a little 'more for a laptop Tho $ 1200 (or more or HD 4 GB of RAM or both). But I have updated these two after purchase. Great buy if your new Mac or not.
